High-Voltage Measurements
Measurements and testing of high-voltage equipment, including high-voltage cables, power transformers, instrument transformers, and earthing systems.
Cable Fault Location
Fault location of underground cables in low- and high-voltage networks. Fast and accurate localization of faults reduces outage duration and minimizes the extent of excavation work.
Useful Information
Professional competence is confirmed for the following scope:
- Measurement of insulation resistance
- Measurement of apparent fault loop impedance
- Testing of residual current devices (RCDs)
- Continuity testing of protective and equipotential bonding conductors
- Measurement of earthing resistance and touch voltage
- High-voltage testing of electrical equipment
- Comprehensive testing of substation equipment (power transformers, instrument transformers, etc.)
- Cable fault location (not within the laboratory’s accredited scope)
- Thermographic inspection of electrical equipment (not within the laboratory’s accredited scope)
- Measurement of illuminance levels (not within the laboratory’s accredited scope)
